Our teachers lead the classroom, working together to give each child the individualized guidance they need to reach their full potential.  BGSU students, faculty  and parent volunteers provide additional programming throughout the year.


Emily Burkart – Head of School & Early Childhood Lead Teacher Miss Emily earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Toledo. She holds a non-public teaching certificate from the State of Ohio Department of Education and the American Montessori Credential at the Early Childhood Level. Emily has eighteen years experience teaching in Montessori education. Emily has served as an instructor of art, science and geography for a Montessori Teacher Training Program, as well as a mentor and supervisor to many BGSU pre-service teachers and Montessori teachers in training. Emily’s one wish is that all children could be educated in a Montessori environment, because all children want to learn successfully. She believes children come to school with their individual talents and personalities, which should be recognized and celebrated. Emily feels privileged to be working for the educational interests of the children at NWO Montessori.


Miss_LauraLaura Drumm –  Elementary Lead Teacher   Miss Laura  holds a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences specifically child and family development from The Ohio State University. She holds a non-public teaching certificate from the State of Ohio Department of Education and received her Montessori Certification in 2004 from Columbus St. Jo’s program in Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3).  She has 9 years experience teaching in a Montessori Lower Elementary classroom and recently spent 3 years  teaching in a traditional preschool program. Miss Laura loves to read, watch football and spend time with her family.  She is excited to be at BGECLC and is looking forward to getting to know all of the families and working with the children. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<


Reina Rosales – Toddler Teacher Miss Reina is currently pursuing her Toddler Credential from Cincinnati at Greater Cincinnati Center for Montessori Education. She holds an American Montessori Early Childhood Associates Credential that she earned from Adrain Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute. Miss Reina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She studied Dance at Bowling Green State University with a minor in business. She enjoys teaching and coaching children different concepts of dance. Miss Reina is very excited to be a part of the NWO Montessori staff! Miss Amy – Montessori Assistant, Toddler room,  Office Assistant

Miss Amy graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts Degree.  While she raised her boys, who all received a Montessori education, Miss Amy provided childcare in her home and volunteered for numerous children’s programs and events.  Prior to joining the NWO Montessori staff, Miss Amy worked as a paraprofessional in the Bowling Green City School system helping children with autism.  In her spare time,  she loves spending time with her family and crafting.  Miss Amy is overjoyed to be working at NWO Montessori as a Toddler Assistant.








Hannah Foster – Aftercare Supervisor Miss Hannah currently attends Bowling Green State University and is pursuing a degree in Early childhood Education.  During her free time Hannah likes to do volunteer work and spend time with her sorority sisters. Miss Hannah is pleased to be working with these children, and hopes to learn from them to help better her classroom for the future! BriannaBrianna Snow – Toddler Assistant Miss Brianna is working with our toddlers in before care, nap, and aftercare. She is currently a student at Bowling Green State University and is pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. When she is not focusing on schoolwork, Miss Brianna enjoys volunteering with the high school youth group at St. Aloysius and spending time with her sorority sisters! Brianna is excited and looking forward to working with the children of NWO Montessori.



Kaylee Maneen – Aftercare Assistant Miss Kaylee is a fourth year student at Bowling Green State University. She is a Media Production and Studies major and Advertizing minor. She is the president of her sorority, so most of her free time goes to hanging out with her sorority sisters. She is from Massachusetts and loves watching the Patriots every Sunday in the fall. Miss Kaylee loved her time as a camp counselor this past summer and is excited to get to know and have fun with all the children this year.




Emily Birk – Aftercare Assistant

Miss Emily attends Bowling Green State University and majors in Early Childhood Education. Outside of school, she holds a leadership position in her sorority and loves spending time with her sisters. Miss Emily enjoys working with all of the children at NWO Montessori and looks forward to taking her experiences here into her future classroom.
